Nice thead here... Good thing to read stuff like this, but mostly I learn a lot by playing against better players. I like to learn the hard way. Thats why I get killed so much :P

Thanks, sending you email right away. :)

I joined some old ISDG at apolyton.net, it was PTW i think it really sucked, but no matter now... I hang out there at apolyton sometimes but I know I can't get into their ISDG when I join here, which should also be the case. Just to reassure all parts I will inform them about me joining this team.

This is also mentioned on the reinforcing thread but it's so important it may be worth mentioning twice. Ever wondered how people reinforce whilst a stack attack is going on? CTRL SHIFT G brings up a list of your cities click on the besieged city and voila in goes your unit, while the attack is still happening, you can usually get 3 or 4 extra spears etc in if you have fast hands; I've saved a city so many times using this that it really does enhance your survivability. It's an oversight by the programmers. moving whilst the stack is attacking was supposed to be impossible, but I happen to think its a realistic part of war that you can reinforce whilst besieged, so I hope they keep it in there in civ4

CTRL-Shift-M is useful if you want to see where all the enemies resources are, it removes all the cities from the map enabling you to see what pressies are underneath.

Ctrl shift-V removes all of a selcted enemies enemies cities from the map except yours so you imediately get a kill too, he he I wish :) :)

Something that has been printed in the readme file but may not be well known (since hardly anyone reads it) is "keepres=1". By inserting this into to the ptw ini file, it allows you to have the in game resolution be the same as your desktop resolution. My desktop, for instance, is at 1400x1050, and so I have a vista veiw of the world when playing! :D

Could someone help me and be a little more descriptive on how to go about what is being described here, thanks.
