if only 4 clan in will be better do normal event with elimination...and off course no need to do final on sunday.

if there are at least 5 clan the format can work even if l dont like the scenario that are in...but its only my point of view

next time will be better to stuy CCC format at least 3-4 week before it start...now l think its too late to change it

Yep, I think this format needs to be rethought a little. On some level it is more "fair" (ie, not to have single elimination), but it also makes for:

1) *way* fewer events: This CCC has 5 events total, 2 of which are singles events, and a third is 2v2 only. I dont know what happened to the plan for OCC listed in the initial sign-up thread, but it's not there now. We have just future, mpt, ndp, ironman and vanilla. (Ppl will say that this is about keeping it doable for small clans, but frankly it is the scheduled *times* that pose the problem for my clan, mostly europeans, not the number of events).

2) fewer clans: The format itself dictates having only 5 clans to make it run smoothly. I understand this was a response to the dwindling numbers of players (and clans), but this time we had 7 interested clans (albeit slightly late).

In short, imo it would have been nice to accommodate more teams and have more (variety) of events, and this kind of round robin format just doesn't allow that flexibility.

My real suggestion would be to perhaps keep this format--non-single elim--for an event like Vanilla only (manageable since short games, and perhaps more fair there) and go back for subsequent CCCs to more events and as many clans as registering.

There simple isn't enough people to add more events phil, sorry to say it. I could drop the amount of games per event from 2 to 1 and add more events, but in the end we would still play the same amount of games.

Among other things i've been thinking about is adding a few games on sunday (for everyone) and making one finale 4v4 game between #1 and #2 for all the marbles.

Um, adding OCC back in now, at this late time, will mean my clan at least completely redoing their player schedule, which was not easy to arrange in the first place...pls dont make last minute changes. My suggestion was for planning of next CCC, not messing with this one on the day it starts.

If you had checked the excel file you would have seen that the scheduele changes with different amount of clans. I added NMA even though they signed up late and thus altered the scheduele.

Next CCC, put the Ironman back the way it should be. Using the all traits all units scenario for the ironman epic made no sense whatsoever.

i liked the 2v2 qc occ. lets do more of them
but change the reporting. i made 7 reports but only recieved one of eight.
