Actually this game is getting interesting ... at least to me, I don't know about the others but the fact we seem to cycle a turn a day is an indication. The map is huge of epic proportions. I am thinking that this is the only way of playing an epic to its conclusion. But like epics it takes committed players. Fortunately it doesn't take a lot of time. We are coming up to our first bench mark

BTW, Warning, I have had a word with my men and they promised me they would stay out of your borders... I suspect them of rum running however and it seems they are having parties outside of my supervision. I'm probably going to have to send a few more troops in hopes of keeping them in order. I have, however, been very stern with them and I think they will behave.

Perhaps you have noticed that your border and ours are fast approaching each other. I don't much plan to crowd your border with cities, but I must protect my national interests and keep an eye as to what may come my way.
Those fellows are perfectly harmless and I will keep them from entering your borders, as long as there is no hostile act on your part. We are a peaceful people and prefer to stay that way.

A milestone is reached ... I just saved turn 100a. And ... I edge out of last place  I wasn't sure how we were doing reporting so I looked thru my email folder and found the startup email from hranthir. Looks like we are only reporting at the end. I have posted the email in the first thread here. Note: On Jan 28-Feb 11 I will be on vacation and unable to play the game. I will drinking copious quantities of Tequila and exposing my big fat ass to the sun on a beach in Mexico. |
