It's getting harder to find people to play CIV3 (Conquests) ... thought I'd ask if anyone here was interested before the game dies because someone has dropped out.

Yep ... I pretty well dissapeared when peeps wanted an active (in game) administrator. Helped over in CIV4 for a while and then I disagreed with how the league was left open and it was just too exhausting with RL commitments.

I play mostly PBEM now and for CIV4 ... Pitboss games. Ladder play except for the odd game doesn't excite me ... too much BS with trying to get a game and then peeps want a particular type of game ... if you don't play a lot they also ridicule you in teamers if they perceive you do the wrong thing. .... not my style. Its supposed to be fun and it became too much like work. Thats why I like PBEM ... no one can yell at you.

Hey WU2! Glad to see Magzi stepped up. Although they're slow, I think PBEM's offer the fullest civ experience (the one Avo, Owl, Whip and I started recently has been making good speed--sometimes two turns in one day!), especially for grown-ups like us. Enjoy!
