The whole point of making it a singles tournament, where you have 2v2 and 3v3 events is so that it doesn't matter if people don't show up for all events, and aren't organized, it's so everyone can play, but i figure there would be around 10 people who are actively trying to win the over all tournament. What I had in mind when I was brainstorming this tournament was playing it over a weekend just like a ccc, with like 7 events and each indivuidual can only/should play like 4 events or something. And yes, i think the biggest problem with my idea is people not wanting to play all rounds or people throwing games so that their friends on the team they are playing against get the points, this is why I originally had thought of this tournament as all 1v1 and cton events. Anyway, not getting as much feedback on this thread as I had hoped, I guess we can wait a few more months/ maybe a year, and the ccc teams will be reduced to the kind of thing we are talking about bcuz of participation.

Still like developing the format and stuff, was hoping for more ideas/suggestions on the format, and if there was enough interest, like a committee or a special TD. But it seems If this tourney is gonna get off the ground I'm gonna have to organize it and run it, which kinda sucks because the main reason I am so excited about this is I wanted to play in it. Also a tournament this big, if CCC's are still being played , I think could only be like a bi-annual or annual tournament.

Well, I applied for a td position awhile back, once that all goes through, I'll set a date, probaly like 2-3 weeks after a ccc (between ccc's). But I'll need tons of help advertising and recruiting once that happens, not everyone reads these forums.Also at that time i'll try to post a format that can be talked about and optimized.
