I say Romney, he's a the strongest candidate out there. I'm guessing it will be Romney vs Kucinich!

It's awfully early for predictions.
I would be quite happy with Romney as pres but I'm afraid the demographics will hurt him and any Republican. Being a Mormon will hurt him more than the others. There is a certain demographic slice of the Christian Right who would normally be counted on to vote Republican that will stay home rather than vote for a member of a Satanic Religious Cult.

Nah...I think we got at least one of each...
Sam Brokeback..er..Brownback is somewhat of a cowboy. Rudy wishes he was one.
Fred Thompson has been in some B-list flicks..though he's probably considered A-list now.
And Oil Barons? This may surprise you, but it would be Al Gore -- that is, if he runs.
We've even got another candidate from Hope, Arkansas, in Mike Huckabee...
I think the Repubs should nominate Ron Paul. Hell, I might even vote for him if they do...
But it won't happen.

Clinton is by far the most qualified, and I would vote for her in a heartbeat.
That being said, I'm not ready to bet money that she will win. The American people have time and again demonstrated that they are not interested in intellect or competence in the oval office. They want a media creature, which is what the parties will most likely provide.

Aside from almost two terms in the US Senate with seats on numerous subcommittees, Hillary Clinton was extraordinarily active in the Arkansas Governors office for ten years and in the White House for eight.
She was full partner on a prominent law firm, sat on the boards of directors for several large companies and initiated a comprehensive health care reform plan.
She has been a constant supporter for women, children and the poor, both through her own volunteer efforts and the causes she champions.
Her best qualifications, though, cannot be quantified in terms of her personal accomplishments, which are, admittedly, awesome. She is extremely articulate, quick witted and up-to-date on most issues. She also is well versed in the political process, and her professional colleagues constitute a vast resource for political appointments. The other candidates listed so far either have no substantial support staff or, like the current president, are actually the figurehead for behind-the-scenes "support."

Didnt vote however Rudy is my first choice. He cleaned NY up, he does not mince words, he will tell you how it is. This may be a problem as so many of us do not want to hear what is wrong with this country, we only want to hear what we are going to get in return.
The days after 9-11 sealed my vote for Rudy when that Saudi prince came over and handed Rudy a multimillion dollar check to help us, but as he handed it to him he said "you (America) are to blame for this". Rudy did a double take and handed him his check back. Thats all it took for me. Gore, Clinton, Kerry, any one of those idiots would have said "I know" and took the money.
Still cannot fathom for the life of me the people that would vote for Hillary. Bill did a great job as Pres. so long as there was no chance in hell of getting attacked. He cut out military dramatically to reduce the deficit. We dont need to cut military, but rather govt aid to other countries and tax the import cars like they tax ours in their country.
And for those of you still thinking that Hillary is gonna get you a govt healthcare plan, keep dreaming. There is no money in that for the govt, right now they are as happy as a clam to see our premiums climb each and everyday, just means more tax money for them to spend. She had 8 years to get a health plan going while she was the first lady, are we any better off healthcare wise now than we were when Bill was in office? Its now been 16 years, still no healthcare plan, thanks Hillary.
So again my vote will go to Rudy. Obama is my 2nd choice.
Realistically I dont think any repub has a chance in hell to win this given Bush's debacle these last couple of years. In the end Hillary will win, and if she is smart she will take Obama as a running mate and win by the largest margin in history.

HRC would also appear to be a genious in seeing the market swings coming in cattle futures; eleven consecutive correct buy/sell orders to pocket a cool $100k. Funny how after hitting the 100k mark she stopped trading. If she is so good, why not continue?
The answer of course is that she was just the "vehicle" for
Tyson Foods to bribe the Arkansas Attorney General.
Sadly, I agree with Goddes that a Clinton (or Rodham) - Obama ticket would be unbeatable.

Despite the best efforts of a determined, combined Republican congress with special prosecutors up the wazoo, no charges were made to Mz. Clinton. Either she is WAY too smart for them all (a good thing in a president), or there was nothing there but desperate accusations and innuendo (a conservative political strong point, I'll admit).
I am heartened, though, that y'all feel that Hillary can win. I'm not so optimistic, but my hope rises when I see your predictions in that regard.
