Hello Ladderites,
WRITE YOUR COMMENTS IN THE OTHER THREAD: HERE
Sign up for clans closes THURSDAY 5th of June at 1PM Eastern!
You can still edit your roster all the way up to the start of the first event. Between Fridays rounds and Saturdays rounds you can add people to your roster. But please don't edit your rosters, instead write a comment that this player has joined your team.
The complete schedule will then be posted shortly after.
The 44th C3P Clan Championship Cup will be held over the weekend of June 6th to 8th, 2008, using C3C version 1.22. Please read the rules and NEW schedule carefully.
A maximum of 16 clans may enter, first-registered, first-served. A minimum of 6 players are needed and a maximum of 18 players may enter. There will be 6 events. To play you must appear in the CIV3Players member database and be a member in good standing.
Here is the point system for scoring:
3v3 and 4v4 Scenarios = 6 pts.
1v1 and 2v2 Scenarios = 4 pts.
Ironman = 1st place: 6pts --- 2nd place: 3pts --- 3rd place: 1pt
Cton = 1st place: 5 pts --- 2nd place: 4pts --- 3rd place: 3 pts --- 4th place: 2pts --- 5th place: 1 pts
Note: If your clan shows up for a game and the other doesnt. You have to contact a TD/ADMIN and get them to confirm that the other clan isn't there. If the other clan doesn't show 10mins after the TD/ADMIN has tried to get hold of them they will automatically forfeit the game, giving full pts to the other clan.
If both clans fail to show and they can't agree to terms when to play it at a later time they will both be awarded 0 points.
The new schedule has been made into a spreadsheet without clan assigned yet. You can find the spreadsheet HERE
If both clans agree they can move the game to another time, but it is up to both clans to agree on a time of where the game is to be played. If the game isn't done at sunday 2:30pm (est) at the latest, both teams will receive 0 points. It is your own responsiblity to make sure the game is finished by then, try to play at the listed times or get the TD to forfeit the other clan, it can really mess up your own scheduele.
Universal Rules (Unless Exception noted):
Seeding random, Game mode simultaneous.
Accelerated production on, SGL turned off, Cultural conversions OFF, Preserve random seed on.
Barb level roaming, climate normal, age 4 billion, temp temperate and difficulty level regent.
Pick order will be slighty different this CCC. It now features "average" skill rating. Meaning you add players skill rating together and divide it by the amount of players playing.
Say you got three players, with skill ratings of: 1302, 1902 and 1503, you add those three values together (1302+1902+1503) and divide it by 3, and you get an average skill raitng of 1569. Note: Unranked equals 1500 skill rating. Incase of tie, then highest ranked player picks first. Cooking reports to decrease/increase your skill will be treated as unsportsmanlike conduct and a penalty will be enforced!
ANY TEAM WHO TAKES LONGER THEN 10 MINUTES TO RETURN TO RELOAD RISK LOSING THAT PLAYER. TD will enforce this if necessary. Captains warn your teams, any players found using a cheat or found reloading map will see their clan disqualified. This is to be fun weekend, don’t let some moron on your team ruin it for you all. If you for some reason have to leave, tell the others in the game and get the host to save, and therefore not screwing up the moves already done. Whatever you do, don't just say: "gotta go" or similar and leave. Doing so will get your clan penalized with -1 point. If there is an argument in the game pause it and talk about it, don't just leave for the lobby!
Any team/player found harassing a td in lobby will be penalized in points. TD will warn player publically first, Next public outbreak in lobby sees the player disqualified and his clan penalized 3 points. This does NOT mean, don’t state your case to td’s or admins, it means take it to a private room and respect the decisions when they are final.

Top 2 qualify for the finals on sunday!
In case of a tie, the tiebreaker is:
1. Amount of rounds won, say you've won 5 rounds and the other clan only won 4 then you qualify.
2. Opponenets beaten. Number of times you've beaten the top rated clans. Say you've beaten the top ranked clan twice and the other clan has only beaten them once, then you advance. If tied then you move onto the amount of times you've beaten the 2nd place clan and so on.
3. In the extreme case that both of the other tiebreakers are tied a single game of 1v1 vanilla will be played 1 hour before the semi-finals start.
