Since I've repeated it all the time i finally decided to just make a post ;D . Step 1. Go to Start click Run type Command type ipconfig in the prompt that comes up and find your Default Gateway IP. Step 2. Bring up an Internet Explorer browers, in the address bar type the Default Gateway IP. Step 3. Log in , your router may require a username and a pw type 'Admin' for both username and pw, if it does not require a pw, just log in. Look for an Advanced Settings link, or a similar link where you can find a Virtual Server link. Step 4. Fill in the corresponding boxes for IP and Ports Step 5. Enter this list of ports UDP 6500 UDP 13139 UDP 2302 TCP 1440 TCP 28900 UDP 27900 TCP 6667 TCP 6500 TCP 29900 TCP 29901 TCP 3783 UDP 6515 Once you are done test it out ;D , I hope this works for you all and HF! ;D A link i got from Stewiesbaby for all you Vista users out there portforward.com/networking/static-vista.htm

I am in the same boat now Avo GS crashes a lot but not as much as it use to. My linksys router I have only put in the following out of Queens number list, UDP 6500 UDP 13139 UDP 2302 Application = C3C Start = 6500 End = 6500 Protocol = UDP IP Adrress = 101 Enable I have hosted many games with the above three only. Now I have switched my pcs around moving the router to another and the adapter to this I can no longer host here on this pc with the wireless adapter but I can play. So now I go and try to add seven more of these numbers as my router only allows ten ports to be open for gaming. Edit: 6667,3783,27900,28900,29900,29901,13139,6515,6500 Application = GS Start = 6667 End = 6667 Protocol = Both IP = 101 Enable Those are all GS and the Protocol can all be set at Both Am going to try this now since I see no way to host using a wireless adapter that signals the router in the other room. I will have to switch the router back to this pc and the adapter back to the other in order to host again. Note: Port Forwarding for the Linksys WRT54GTo find your router there is a list at the following site, portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm

Thanks Queen!!!! Since you are young, computer savy and oh so beautiful. Can you please tell me which ports to put in to avoid gamespy always dropping? I have linksys router and gamespy crashes/disconnects every few minutes. I am not so beautiful like Queen but will try to address this . Droping from GS had becoming my nightmare a year or more ago and I spent endless hours to fix it. First of all my experience show that Linksys is a crap as far as online playing is concerned. For some reasons it creates problems out of nowhere. I would advise to update routers firmware. 1.Download new firmware: go to linksys.com ---> downloads --> enter your model number and you will get files for your model----> find firmware file and download it 2. last step is to upgrade the router: log into your router ---> click administration ---> click upgrade firmware and select the file you downloaded before. The other thing is to turn off routers firewall while you playing. It can help too. But the last recommendation is to sell linksys on ebay and buy cheap Netgear router.
