PAL continues to fight against the decimating backstabbing of BAT (the French team) many months ago in the ISDG.
Civ Brazil fell quite some time ago at about the time PAL was burning cities and taking refuge on an island.
CGN battled back from the anemic state which PAL had left them at that fateful moment when PAL was betrayed with all their forces in CGN territory. But CDZ landed them with furry such that CGN found reason to complain and resign over an admin ruling to allow the gifting of a city to PAL on the separate continent. Trivial to CGN though it was, I suspect they simply didn't have the fortitude to battle on with slim odds of surviving.
While CDZ who long ago was pressed by Civ Brazil and Apolyton in a 2v1 had forces crashing CGN shores. APO was planning a visit. Apparently CDZ was not very diplomatic when they regained the advantage in their long past Ménage à trios. Apolyton settled the score by eliminating CDZ from their own continent.
I have proposed to APO to allow PAL to grow rapidly and present a 2v2 front in the final stage of this epic battle. Backstabbing BAT is the powerhouse with uninterrupted building with tremendous land advantage to this stage where Marines have just entered the scene. CDZ has 6 cities with some population and limited infrastructure to compliment BAT which has a sizable Navy to guard the fledgling empire new to it's side.
I have been flying solo for too long and am not an expert in late game development or tactics. If APO should accept my offer I will need to recruit the best of the best to carry the People's Army of the Ladder with honor to the end of the Final round of the Inter-Site Democracy Game.
There is an ISDG thread which is password protected and invite only. I will provide an update directly to those who express interest but only if I recognize you. If you don’t know me, you will need an admin or someone I know well to vouch for you before I will reply.
