I recently played multiplayer online for the first time, and after joining a game and playing for a while, a message pops up saying, Message out of sync, and the game crashes. I joined another game and after about 30 minutes the same thing happens. (Oddly, both happened right after I built a city) Is there any way to prevent this? And I forgot to check--does Civ3 autosave on multiplayer?
Thanks for any help.

oos...out of sync error has been happening since this game has been played. I dont think anybody really knows exactly what causes it. Normally you reload and pray.
Yes in multiplayer games an auto save file is created if you select the auto save option. The host will have one save in that file that says out of sync. If the orginal host is hosting again he can load the oos save

a common bugs is when sumer plant city..to prevent that u must plant with settler alone....when that happens will be better to say the others that u are "planting alone" to prevent bug or will die for sure...
