What happens if i have built a settler in a city with size 2 playing 1 city ellimination game? Will I lose the game disbanding the city this way or not?

No, the settler won't be built until the city size reaches 3. Starting to build the settler too early just wastes the shields.

If you abandon or trade or gift a city in an Elimination Game it will count against the Elimination limit. So, if it's one city elimination you would be dead.

It's a good thing you posted that whiplash, cause this is something I have no desire of experimenting with, and I've heard some players ask that question while we were playing it. Then it's good to have the correct information at hand.

you cant trade citys in elimination. theres no possible way of doing it. unless you let your ally take your city with a unit killing you anyway.
but city trading via diplomacy screen is Impossible

actually it used to be possible at one point. You trade your city and they recieve an empty city - you are eliminated - and if there are any troops within 6 miles you are eliminated soon after.... fortunately i havent tried it for a long long time... but it did use to be possible.

Ya must of been eliminated in conquests.
Peeps would Rename a city "Construction" then trade it, they die and you die right after.... naturally it was banned.
