There are seprete ladders because of arguments betweeen spm and cg. What if both of them steped down and became regular players? Then both laders could join together and have a lot more fun. Thats what civ is about fun we shouldn't be seperated because of the admins arguements. I really think spm should step down and because a "player" and let neal take over as full admin. Then cg and spm can argue but not as one of them full admins. Then the ladder armuges and fun is all around. Isn't that a good idea? :)

I think SPM would have more fun as just a player. Take all the presure of him.Everytime he does something everyones watching. He needs to just be a player I think

SPM has no reason to step down. He is active here once again. C3P is implementing new policies to ensure all remain active in the future and that players have explanations for the forum moderations. Everyday there are less and less matches on vets ladder and players are returning here because this is and always was the place for civ3 mp.
So I ask, why change anything for the time being?
What the community needs now is a bit of time to heal and place some of this behind us.

This is very true, and while Civ3players continues to allow dissidents post here, Civ3Vets has taken a decidedly much more fascist approach to their forums. Civ3players has banned only one VET, and that was after he posted several elicit sexual pornographic links, which could have had ProBoards shutting down our forum. I was banned on Civ3vets today, and there is a poll to ban any dissidents. Given their Fascist practices so far, I'm gonna guess this poll will go "favorably" for their admins. Its time to cut the crap, its time the players take control. While I agree with many vets opinions, I am saddened that their good intentions were led astray by those who will stop at nothing to satisfy their personal grudges, their own admins. Its time we fix the community, rather then being used as a pawn by hate mongers to satisfy their lust for blood and revenge. As CG stated on his own forum, He is fighting a war. Im sure most of you agree that we dont want war, we want compromise and unity. |
