I have an idea an on how to reduce non-reports. Why not take the route that the professional sports leagues do on drugs and steroids. We all know who the culprits are and the rest of us would be subject to the same rules.
Anyone that has a complaint filed against them would have their record checked. If it was determined that they had any report made to them after the date of the game played where they didn't report they would be subject to a penalty. The first offense would carry a 3 day suspension, 2nd 7 days, 3rd 30 days. Anyone caught filing a false non-report would be subject to a 15 day suspension.
I truly don't understand why people continually have to be reminded to report. Use a stick-um on your computer screen if you leave it. If you're entering another game join the room and let them know you are reporting in case your ping jumps. Better yet report immediately before starting a new game.
We are here to play structured games and to avoid people taking the fun out of the game by quitting. Reports are the corner stone of that.
I also suggest upon using a disclosure of the reporting rule as a prerequisite of earning a key to join. Make them check a box that they have read and understand the rules of reporting. 24 hour rule is only applicable if you do not play another game, not to put it off.
It's good to be back.
