Excellent guide, very informative. I am almost only an epic player, I can't stand the CTON's and wimpy 100 turn deals that this place likes so much, it takes away my enjoyment of the game.
/me goes to look for an enjoyable epic.

Old thread but still actually topic here are my thoughts about hosting an epic: Better play with 4 players with enough time to finish the epic fast than with 6 playing 1 session or less per week. 7-8 Players are too much for an epic Non AP is more fun ;D Use a high difficulty or u will end up with gay 4 turn research. Restart if the starts are too unfair. ( But don t restart too often ;D  ) Its a good idea to ban the Statue of Zeus and Leos Workshop ( Great Lighthouse may aswell ) If you play a team epic its a good idea to decide in game whats the teams for example conti vs conti or those 2 players with the powerstart are in different teams Use random civs for more fun  Dont play all night if you have to work on next day  |
