so funny when the next natural disaster strikes and guess who's coming to dinner? The world can talk smack but you know what? Like water off a duck's arse. The US of A will still come to aid in times of crisis. Just like all the developed countries would be too. I recall it was Japan who gave the most aid to Indonesia (and to other countries affected by the Indonesian earthquake in 2005).

yeah I can see it happening. A lame duck administration, with a 30% approval rating, a hostile congress, that has already led us into a quagmire in a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 or al qaeda whatsoever, is going to start another war with another middle eastern country that had nothing to do with 9/11 or al qaeda again. Send me some of that stuff you are smoking, cuz it must be amazing.

FOX News is a bigger threat to this country than Iran, Iraq, or Al Qaeda will ever or could ever be.
Bomb the FOX studios and send Rupert Murdoch back to Australia where he can't cause as much damage.
Now there is a war I could get behind....

And thus swing the advantage to rebel Muslims who have been US allies since.... well, never.

I think that they were all white in that conflict.
I think the President should take the country to war when there are vital US interests at stake, not when his "feelings" generate sympathy for one side or the other in a civil war.
We had no business being involved.

I think the President should take the country to war when there are vital US interests at stake, not when his "feelings" generate sympathy for one side or the other in a civil war. I.e. the hard-core psychopath attitude that has characterised US "foreign policy" - if we can call it that - for decades: rape the world whenever and wherever you can. Just lovely. At least it's honest for a change.
