Since I've joined ladder which was about mid summer '05 I've had two lagg outs. In each case the original host was killed off and for whatever reason the new host and I conflicted. I see it as wrong to force me or anyone else for that matter to report when the lagg outs are not my fault. I am not screwing around online or in someway causing these things to happen. I think this rule should be retracted or at least significantly modified.

if u would have read the rules i think they clearly stated this rule as a rule wich can be aboned from whenever players in game agree. My opinion why they made this rule is that getting more dropouts w/o this rule will result in many reloads and thus a real long long game when a lot of ppl lagg out . These things just happen , they also happened to me and i reported though ... before joining ladder u have to agree with the rules on this league u agreed with them , so no need to get back on it. Although like in the last sentence u can always suggest a change , wich i don't find find in place due to many reloads , but u can always agree on different rules before the game starts. Hope i helped u out

I've been playing on the ladder for well over a year now and I've only seen the 2 drop rule enforced a couple times. Most players on the ladder do not want to gain a report that way. The rule needs to be there though because there are players that refuse to admit that they lag or even after 5 or 6 drops will not bow out gracefully causing the game to either be scrapped or nightmare for the rest.

I've seen it enforced a lot. In this game I was in 3rd of the 6 we started with and I was about to attack one of the other players with a large stack of 3 man Chariots. They never came back or bitched at me for the drop. They simply kept playing. Plus at the time I was #22 on the ladder so I'm sure all of them would have loved to get a report from me.

1:Not everyone is lookin for reports. Some of us play cuz we like to(read addicted ) 2:Nobody in the game prolly knew about yer stack 3:Some or all the other players may have been in games recently where they were subjected to lagfests &/or multiple drops & simply focused their frustrations on this one,& unfortunately, you 4:Take it with a grain o salt. It's just a game(did I really say that?) & there'll be lots more

I like the rule and it should stay. Noone wants to sit through a lot of reloads. If you're dropping then your comp is the weak link and the one probably causing issues.

Yesterday in our game we had 5 OOS in first 10-20 turns. 1 player leave setup without words-(5th reload). After that no more OOS was shown and we playing good.
PS Unreporting file is on the way...bc this rule is great dnt let smuglers to abuse other honorable players.

Actually I enjoy Last's posts quite often. You just have to appreciate dry wit and sarcasm. If you take everything so seriously you are going to die young and be very old when you do.
