The Head Admin can expel a member (called banning a player). Reasons for such discipline include, but are not limited to: if they are cheating (for what constitutes cheating, if you're not sure, please read Fried's forum article) or manipulating the ladder in anyway, have multiple accounts, their user name is offensive, their email account becomes invalid, they are being abusive to other members excessively, or they are failing to report losses consistently. Before banning anyone, the Head Admin will issue at least one warning in writing to the official Email Address of the player being disciplined and that warning will stipulate what conduct was found to be objectionable.

coulda an admin please send this guy a warning as it is REALLY bothering me now.

this forum isn't the place for your naming calling (ie. "cheater"), again could admins deal with this before i need to start flaming back?

It is illegal to abuse or harrass another Ladder member. If you are observed being abusive in chat it could result in penalty. Depending upon the extent of the abuse you might not always receive a warning in these cases. It is important to remember that two wrongs do not make a right. In other words, if you are being harrassed by another Ladder member come to us for assistance. Do not take matters into your own hands or return the abuse, or you could find yourself in trouble as well.

I don't understand why you must explain the rules and try to bring ME down rod.... ur admin "bent" rules for your clan during CCC when ur roster was to be split from CIA AFTER deadline. Then your captain modified that same roster AGAIN to add on some more players, well after the CCC already began. Why you would like to bring ME down when for 3 years I have done nothing but follow the rules, get a life and go away.... you are not my equal, I don't know you, don't wanna waste my time with you, and don't like being slandered by you repeatedly everyday in forums.... (although i have been in games where people, yourself included, have said out-loud, kill the lagger)..... next time take the extra minute to quote... so im not misquoted.... and as for calling me a cheat AGAIN..... admins has he been warned yet? is this a 2nd offense yet?

(funny thing is..... you're one of the biggest laggers/most frequent droppers on the ladder, so i can see why someone saying this outloud would upset you).

As for flaming, Rod not flaming, he is playing the same game as you. As I said you both been going on for a few weeks. What started as jest and ribbing is turning into a cat-fight.

And no one has answered my question as to why games are scrapped and not called on points. Especially after a half hour of playing. I'd also like to commend Monoha for standing firmly with me against scraps.

Why is the game not called on point after half hour question? Simple one could drop when leading and win. However there is a cut off point people often call it after 70 turns.

Hehe, see how many reports from me you will get if u drop half hour into a game while ur winning.

Rules people..... Drop? 10 minutes to reload. 2 drops, ur out (at hosts discretion). turn 70 seems a bit far for cut-off (remind me to force lag at turn 68 from now on when losing). half way may be a bit early too.... depends on situation i guess but this should be made rule somewhere.... after turn XX then u have to drop lagger with no reports and continue, keep lagger on and suffer thru it, call game on points. Notice scrap isn't an option at turn XX (whatever XX is appropriate, i say around turn 50, which is well over an hour into game).

If the game has excessive oos's or turns begin to skip, just throw out the PoP'pers with their downloaded (no disk) versions.

I wasnt clear sorry. I was answering Morgoth question about why not just call it after 30 minutes.

And yes a call is often made if a clear winner stands out (especially ctons).

Part of the reason there is so many scraps is the lengths of the reloads. I host a reload and it may take 20 minutes before game is back under way
Cmon people when oos or drop......Hurry back to host room, when we go to other room, don't go afk. Ridiculous to wait 3 minutes here, 3 there etc so that indeed 20 minutes has gone by before everyone is checked in. A reload should take 2 minutes tops, not 10-20. We had a game last night where 4 reloads took maybe 6 minutes total. No talk of quitting there. It's when it drags on and on that people get discouraged.
