i figured it out.. the switch is just needed to give all da house the connection, is not a router. so u need to configure properly just the dslink, but seems it wont work so as i said before, maybe your ISP closed some ports, or maybe u have a firewall on.. dunno, im sorry cant help u more

can't ya just buy another dam router? is not sure that will change anything. Maybe is not a router issue, but ISP issue.

Rod you have called your internet provider and informed on what ports they might have closed? or what firewalls may be intefering with your play? You are a paying customer and any legitemate game you wish to be should not be blocked.

to contact the ISP provider might not be a total loss of time. Maybe "they" have a port up or somthing which may change your router?

i have wireless do i have to open the ports on my labtop or the main computer in my house? and where do i go to open ports and which ports and names of the ports do i need to open. i read the stuff before but didnt work.
