Dear Ladderites,
There has evolved a disconcerting trend in future teamer. Apparently most if not all of future players have decided to no longer report their matches. This makes it near impossible for administrators to bring about consistency in regards to league stats. Yet it is so simple to report.
Not playing future myself, I wish the solution to come from the mouths of those that do. I am writing to offer you different options about ladder future teamers. Please take the time to think about it and vote accordingly.
Once a policy is passed by your votes, it will be enforced as such. The will be suspensions and harsh punishment handed to those who do not abide to the majorities wishes. So here we go the options are:
1-All future ladder matches are report free. This means you simply play with the people you like be they ladderites or others. This option of course means that you may not file a non report or complain to an administrator if you feel you were unjustly treated.
2-All future matches are to be treated as normal ladder matches. Players who do not report will receive suspensions. 3 days in the box for first offense, 7 days for second non report, 14 for 3rd non report and finally 28 for 4th such incident. Should this policy be adopted, there will also be harsh penalties handed down to hosts who allow boxed or non members to play. It is the HOST’S responsibility to ensure that players in their games are indeed legit. We, as administrators, cannot be expected to carry this burden alone.
3-If all future players are going to forgo reporting then it is not a ladder match. Remove the “ladder” tag from game title and ensure that everyone in the game knows this is not a ladder match. If this option is chosen, players found hosting “future ladder” games with the work “ladder” in title will be suspended and treated with the same parameters as non-reporters.
Vote according to what you feel is right and then expect us to enforce your decision. This thread will be up for 2-3 weeks to ensure enough of you have said your peace.

The votes are in and clearly indicate that the vast majority of you feel that future ladder games ought to be reported. You have voiced your opinion and we will support it.
If someone does not report to you in a future match, file a non-report and it will be dealt with within 48 hours. In order for this report to go through, you must assure yourselves that you are not playing with non members or suspended players. Any future match who has banned players or non-ladderites will be a null match.
In order for a future teamer to be legit:
1-All players in game must be ladder members
2-All players in game must be in good standing and not in the box.
3-Any scraps or concessions must be unanimous.
We, at the ladder, like to believe we offer a good place for players to test their skills. One of the reasons the matches are so entertaining is that people do not quit when land is bad.
Every time you quit a game, you are ruining the fun for 7 of your friends. Be courteous and show some respect for your fellow Civers.
Hosts found hosting matches with non members will also be subject to penalty. We are not here to tell you who to play with. We are telling you that if you are to call it a “ladder match” then it is subjected to ladder standards.
Hosts are to check league site as any game played with a boxed player will be null.
In order for a match to count, all members must be in good standing.
Any player attempting to play a ladder match while boxed will see his/her suspension lengthened. This will be strictly enforced.
You have all voted that this is the way you wished ladder matches to be. We respect your decision and expect your help to keep it running as such.
Our league stands for integrity, fair play and accountability to one another.
File your non reports and they will be dealt with. If it costs us some membership then so be it.
The ladder stands for something and will not bend to accommodate those who cannot follow the rules.
If you cannot follow these rules then it is our suggestion that you stick to open games.
