What's also happening a lot is newer players not showing up after a drop or OOS. Especially when it's early in the game.

I apologise if this has already been covered in this thread but I havent read all 4 pages. Twice within the last 24 hours people have sent me emails asking me to report a loss. However I have not played during that time. I understand that impersonation is faitrly easy (it seems to me if you are playing through the game you can call yourself anything you want), so i have two questions: 1. why me? 2. what can i do about this - if anything? and 3 . if I get banned how can I get unbanned?

PV,
when impersonation was rampant , we used to send emails to everyone with passwords. Most civvers play with the same people so that hasn't been an issue. There isn't much u can do when someone impersonates you and if you play with an impersonator, there isnt much you can do after the fact. The impersonator issue comes and goes so just be vigilant. This too shall pass.

Well I dont like our unreported system. I have filed 6 unreported matches. All over 3 weeks ago and none of which have been taken care of. I dont know wether the admins just forget about it or what, but in my opinion it is a bad system. I think you should make it unreported then when you see the bomb you get 1 week to report the match and then get the bomb off. If you dont then you get your punishment.

I don't think the admins can take the bomb away; it's a Case's automatic function.

Hey hein From what i read it seems like the admins have to work hard to do the non reports. Maybe you should volunteer for a week or so and figure out if you can do something better;).
I know wha u mean. Some non reports nothin happens from it. Just go on and remember not to play with that guy again.

First let me say a BIG TY to our Admn who volunteer thier time to make this ladder as successful as it is...
And if would benefit us all if reports were done in a timely fashion after a game ends. With all the good hard work the Admn put into this league is a shame to see them have to spend so much time dealing with what is a league members responsibility to do.. So give the admn and other members of this league the respect they deserve and report losses ... Allow our admn to use thier voluntary time here creating fun exciting activities for the league .....

AH, have you ever checked the dailly reports to see if a report was made by the people that you filed the report against? When an Admin forces a report it looks like tha person reported accept for the comments in the popup box. Admins do not email everyone when they force a report that would just be one more thing to suck up our time. You are expected to check the dailly reports, and if you have a question you could just ask Nealcain about it as he is taking care of non-reports.

This just keeps getting worse. In two evenings of playing I now have a list of 9 players who owe reports. Many of these players are seen hopping into games immediatly after the prior losses. It's a pain following these jerks around like a bill collector; sending e-mails, filing non-reports. HAVE YOU NO HONOR?
In one game we all met in the reload room and all of the other team said they would concede. Four hours later NONE OF THEM HAD REPORTED. I know I'm supposed to wait 24 to send the "friendly" e-mail reminder; but why should I have to do record keeping and all of the follow-up. These jerks just purposly don't report hoping they won't get hounded down. Now I don't care about the reports for the sake of my own stats or rank; but the integrity of the system has to rely on a system of self-reporting.
Usually, this is always the cast of the same characters; and I've just decided to expand my do-not-play list. It's getting to be a long list and will mean that I'll play less; but it's just as well.

I'm fairly new to the ladder and already I have 12 non reports on my list. Have to agree with whip it is a pain to have to keep records and have to keep checking and sending emails. I don't like the idea of reporting a loss to the admin for their time is well spent doing much more important things rather than having to go around and babysit those that feel this ladder is unimportant and the rules don't matter. Takes me all of 5 mins. after a game to report 7 losses (just did it ) and it is not real difficult. Reports should be done Immediately after you are taken out of the game. Please do not wait till you win a few to even up your score, because it does effect the rating of the person you were suppose to report to. And just want to say thanks to all the admin for all the time they have spent on this ladder and hope the non report issue passes with time as those that don't find themselves out of games cause no one wants to play them.

Im relatively new to the ladder. Lately Ive noticed the teamer games ,of which Ive been on the winning team, some of my (well known) teammates are getting reports and Im not. I dont believe this is very fair. Ive already let a couple of non-reports/double reports(user error there) slide. Its amazing that even when I personally kill them, they still dont report to me???!! I would just like to see everyone playing by the rules. I know this is coming from a "NOOB" but i agreed to the rules......so should you!

Dear Friends:
If someone doesn't report (and yes give them a few hours at least), send them an email. If they still don't report within say 24 hours, then initiate a Non-report complaint by going to our web page and clicking on UNREPORTED MATCH.
This begins an automated process which sometimes is time consuming.
Most players do the right thing and report their matches. However, a small number give the rest a bad name.
Please do the courteous thing:
1) Write down your opponents names 2) If you lose, report immediately, at least before you start a new game (I realize that sometimes you are killed in a teamer and the ultimate outcome of the game still isn't known - so you might start a game there without reporting). 3) If someone doesn't report a loss to you - email them and if they don't respond satisfactorily, then file a complaint against them (see above) - that's the only way to get justice and to eventually force the report.
Best, SPM
