Just a reminder that this poll in the forums is NON-BINDING.
The real vote is being conducted by email. Please check your email (maybe the spam filter?) and make sure you register you vote there if you want to make sure your vote is counted.

I voted for it, both here and by email. I hope we make the switch. I would have voted for it even before Case's fumbled their latest page.

Please consider how to point inactive players to the new site if we make the switch. Not everyone gone for awhile is gone forever.

Most of the inactive members also know this forum. You can then do what we did when we made the move and put it as the only message in the forum's news fader. They can also read the forum posts here and learn what has happened. That and just asking in game lobby should handle any inactive members.

And even the ones that miss the news fader in the forums, tend to find out easily enough from other players in the lobby. At least that is how it worked for us in our move. CS

Voting is officially over! Email votes ran a little more losided than the votes in this forum: nearly 3 to 1 in favor of switching to CIVPlayers.
Don't look for any immediate change. There's lost of stuff to do yet, not the least of which is to make sure we maintain this forum and transfer as must historical data as possible to our new location.

Cases will probably be deserted. You are still welcome to use it, but we won't be doing any active updating what so ever.

do you have to destroy cases ladder cant you pass it on to others??? Why would you want two Civ3 leagues running at the same time? Seem to me that would just divide and confuse the already small Civ3MP player community. CS
