all sounds good to me .ck can you put up all the sites we may need as a list so we know where to go and sign up.civplayers league ,this voice chat thing ,so forth and so on I'm sure you'll know what we may need.

Im confused, are we throwing in our entire admin team for yours now then? (Our old admin team who left us for a new game?) Since it is your program and you have now modified your signatures here to clarify you're the bosses there. Is our admin team thrown into the mix? Who's enforcing ladder rules and what not ? I love my buddy Scott but I'm not so sure I like the other guys as much, especially since a few of them were never even in our community.
Can someone straighten me out here before I say more?

Sure thing Bonez, your admin team you have here will run your league, just like they do now, they will manage the rules, run the CCC, everything they do now they will continue to do. The Civ4 Admin team won't have anything to do with the Civ3 league, they have enough to do. Only me and DTA will have anything to do with all leagues(plus Slaughter our programmer, but not as an Admin), but only as Administrative support to your admin team, we have no plans to get involved with day to day management of the Civ3 league, unless Zar and his team ask for the help on unusual issues. Our role is similar to DanQ at Apolyton or Thunderfall at CFC. We are here to help with setting up the league, getting Zar and his team settled in with the new software so they can continue to help their players. So you don't have to worry no Civ4 admin that has never played C3C will be doing Report Distpute duty on the Civ3 league etc. My and DTA's job is to ensure that the Civ3 league is setup and running smoothly and that any code bugs or features are taken care of quicky, not to manage the way your league is run. I've talked with Slaughter and the basic league code will be done in about 10 days, but we want to do a closed beta test to work out any problems and add the Civ3 specific features that you will want. So if you want to help test the league software, please email Zar, and when the site is up he will send everyone the URL and pw to the site. See you their.

Once we have the C3P section complete and your admin team decides to go public with it, then you will only need the one site. The others are all direct linked into it. |

Slaughter has just finished the league and today(tommorrow for most of you) I will be writting my a email with details and he can start inviting a beta team to start testing the new league and giving us feedback.

We are just entering an open beta test. Everyone is free to join at civ3.civplayers.com/The login is: - username: C3P_team - password: C3P_test_run This will soon be removed, by DTA, but use it until it is removed. This is an open beta, and hopefully we will have few bugs to find and fix, but please post any bugs that you do find. But remember that any games that you report will be removed from the player database when we go live and permenantly move to the Civplayers League. CS |
